Portable Field Shower Set
The Portable Field Shower Set (PFSS) is a complete self-contained system tailored to the needs of a military user. The PFSS features numerous setup scenarios and options. The PFSS comes complete with all necessary hoses and fittings for operation. Water is supplied to the unit from the supplied 1,000 gallon source water pillow bladder. The water pressure and water heating is supplied by the included supply pump and heating skid.
The skid consists of an electrically driven self-priming supply pump which delivers up to 950 gallons/hour. The skid also consists of a 50 gallon capacity fuel tank. Water heat is via an on-demand diesel (multi-fuel also) water heater. The heater can provide up to 41 kW of heat. A tempered mixed water supply to the showers is provided by a safety tempering valve.
The PPFS is provided with 4 individual shower stalls. Each stall is made of an aluminum structure and is collapsible and stackable for easy storage, transport, and shipment. The stalls set up in just minutes and provide for private, roomy showers. The water-proof canvas walls, support poles, and the shower head assemblies can be stored in the collapsed shower stalls. The system can operate with 1 shower stall only, but the system is also prepared to operate up to 8 shower stall assemblies simultaneously.
Waste water is removed from the stalls via a diaphragm pump. Waste water can be directed to a local receptacle or directed and stored within the supplied 1,000 gallon waste water pillow bladder.
