Joint Air-transportable Containerized Kitchen
The Joint Air-transportable Containerized Kitchen (JACK) is a single pallet position expeditionary kitchen system. The JACK is built within an Expeditionary Airlift Container and interfaces with the aircraft palletized cargo handling system rails and locks – additional restraint is not required. The JACK is certified by ATTLA for internal air transport. The JACK has proven feeding capabilities of 300 personnel on pure A-Rations, 400 personnel as a stand-alone system, and 550 personnel with additional capability equipment.
